First, I was sending to a cousin who has been in assisted living well over a decade. He had a stroke when in early 60's and unfortunately was not able to regain speech, mobility, but cognitively is still very much with us.I like him to know I think of him and remember his birthday, but don't want a card that says (like MANY do) HAVE A FABULOUS BIRTHDAY! or it's your day, go CRAZY! OR may this be the best bd of your life.NOT of those are appropriate. SO I looked up blank birthday cards. A plain Happy Birthday was fine, but that was all I wanted.THIS CARD WAS PERFECT. It's UNDERSTATED, but VERY HIGH QUALITY and UNIQUE. Just a white card with silver edging with a blue balloon, with a little shine here and there, Happy Birthday in silver inside, a VERY high quality color coordinated envelope in blue and a gold seal!SO if you're looking for something a little different, classy not sassy, that shows you put some thought into just not getting some generic card, I think you may have found it. I LOVE PAPYRUS for their quality and elegance. And really not much more or sometimes not ANY more than a more generic card.
